SKAG was distinguished for one more year at “Bravo Sustainability Dialogues & Awards 2022”, in the “Bravo Society” pillar, for the “Live without Bullying” initiative.

With the main aim of protecting and safeguarding the psychological health of our children as well as reducing bullying incidents, wherever and whenever happen, SKAG company implemented an initiative/action on the theme “LIVE WITHOUT BULLING” with a positive impact not only for the children but also for the parents and the school and educational community.

The aim of this initiative is to inform, raise awareness, inform, develop, and implement actions with the aim of preventing school violence and bullying, for all those involved, that is, the school, the family, and the educational community.

In the context of this idea, Th. C. SKAGIAS S.A. supports the LIVE WITHOUT BULLYING initiative, contributing to its dissemination, to students and teachers, through the internal dividers of notebooks with subjects that SKAG produces, presenting messages and information about the action “LIVE WITHOUT BULLING” in SKAG spiral notebooks.

The notebooks of this series, that are distributed to bookstores, contain in their internal dividers, encouraging and reminder messages that deals with bullying – LIVE WITHOUT BULLING.  Contact details are presented, in case of necessary intervention, where information is given about the direct transition to the official website www.livewithoutbulling.com  and reference to their pages in social media, enabling easy accessibility for young people and anyone interested.

Active participation, contribution, and cooperation of all those directly and indirectly involved in the phenomenon of school violence and bullying, is essential.

Through the daily use of SKAG’s spiral notebooks with subjects, a means of communication and continuous information about the phenomenon of school bullying and violence, is created, with a positive impact not only on children but also on parents and the school community.

It is understood that abusive behaviour is not acceptable and there is a possibility to report and seek help.

Distinction at the Bravo Sustainability Dialogues & Awards 2021 for the thematic series of notebooks SAVE EARTH

TH. C. SKAGIAS SA with the series of notebooks with subjects, SAVE EARTH received the award at the Bravo Sustainability Award 2021 in the Society Pillar for the initiative: Production of notebooks with subjects referring to the 17 Global Goals. The company collaborates with a few organizations, actively supporting local communities throughout the country and especially vulnerable groups.

The goal of the Initiative was to inform the public about the 17 global goals of the United Nations and ensure that all people involved (pupils, students, teachers, and academics) acquire the necessary knowledge to promote the sustainable development of Greek society.

At the beginning of 2020, we chose to produce a new series of “Save Earth” notebooks with subjects, which, acted as an informative tool, contributed to channeling the knowledge of the 17 global goals for sustainable development, to Greek society and especially to children. We believe that these are the sustainable goals for our future.

Each notebook mentions a global goal which is illustrated on its cover and under each listed goal, proposals are presented for achieving each goal.

This is how we achieved the primary goal of this specific initiative, therefore informing Greek society about UN 17 SDG, as well as the means of their implementation.
