As active member of the ten-year Corporate Social Responsibility and Offer program, the company made a donation of \u20ac1,000 to the community of Kryoneri, where it is based and operates, which covered the needs of organized tree planting as well the purchase and delivery of 78 deciduous trees, such as 23 plane trees of medium and larger size, 20 sycamores and 35 cypresses.<\/p>\n

The tree planting, which took place successfully on Sunday, at the initiative of the Environment Department in partnership with the Department of the Municipal Communities, took place in 4 locations of the Municipality of Dionysos (Pekofyto Agios Stefanos, Kryoneri, Amygdaleza Stamatas, Dionysos-Rodopolis), with the aim of gradually restoring the natural beauty and biodiversity of the wider area. Hundreds of citizens of all ages participated in this effort, proving that the restoration of the environment should be a top priority for all of us.<\/p>\n

About the donation, Marketing Manager, Poppy Skagia stated: “We are delighted and honored to be part of such an important initiative for our community. SKAG has long supported every effort for a better future, while giving back the love and support it has received every day for decades. Thus, this time too, with great enthusiasm, we supported the tree planting activity of the Municipality of Dionysos, as it is fully in line with our philosophy and our continuous effort to minimize our environmental footprint by adopting sustainable practices that meet European and global standards.”<\/em><\/p>\n
